Good call, Julie! We simply don't know what kind of fruit was on the tree... did the Biblical author perhaps intend this ambiguity??

Thoughts arose while studying the different angle of this thought-to-be "well known" bible story and it honestly made me realize how many different ways it realy can be thought of and misconstrued to fit some alternate purpose for arguments sake.....I am pretty sure the rabi's abused the crap out of this......especialy since it was (for most of jewish history) a taboo to educate women. Big no no Mr. Men lol
