Certainly glad the Christian Science Monitor "test your knowledge about women leaders" is not our final exam. Maybe we do need Women's History Month after all; I certainly do. -Julie
It makes me laugh that I am a women and didn't even know there was such thing as a women's history day until this year! I do admire the women for standing up for what we deserve and demanding better wages and the such! Hooray for those women!
Wow I never even knew about this protest ......or that there was even a day to commemorate and remember how far female advancement has come in the work place. Not only the work place has improved. The demand for being treated as well as men has created ripples that have effected women in all aspects in life. Now keep in mind that I am talking about America, for I have never been outside the country and cannot speak for other cultures, but I am very happy to live in an area where I am not "fully" discriminated or opressed due to my gender. -Angela R.
